Classic Beef Pasta Sauce

When you have a pasta craving...


1lb Lean Ground Beef

2 Stalks of Celery, Diced

1 Onion, Diced

3 Cloves of garlic, minced

1 Tomato, diced

1 Jar Strained tomatoes

1 Handful of Spinach

1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder

1 Tbsp. Dried Basil

1 Tbsp. Dried Oregano

*optional – a sprinkle of red pepper flakes

Salt and Pepper to taste


In deep pan or pot cook and break apart ground beef on medium high heat. Once halfway cooked add onions and garlic and allow beef to fully cook s onions become translucent. Add in celery and tomato, mix. Add in all seasonings followed by strained tomatoes, mix well. Cover and turn down to low heat for 20 minutes. Add in spinach 5 minutes before serving.
